Overview

Hi there, my name is Dan and together we’re going to learn how to create professional corporate video using Adobe Premiere Pro.

I’m an Adobe Certified Instructor and I’ve been teaching Premiere Pro for more than 10 years. I also work closely with Adobe presenting for them at conferences and make some of their Premiere Pro help videos.

This course is for beginners. You don’t need any previous knowledge in Premiere Pro or video editing experience. We’ll make a video together from start to finish, step by step. By the end of this course you’ll know how to take your raw video files, edit them. Fixing the color & audio. You’ll know how to add additional footage to sex up any boring video or hide mistakes.

You’ll master transitions. And how to sync separate audio & video files together. All the way through to animating your logo’s & interviewee's name titles.

If you have any trouble with your projects, camera or audio problems drop me a message. I’m happy to help out. There’s also exercise files so you can follow along.

So, if you need to start making professional corporate videos that impress colleges & clients. Come join me in the class. I’ll make easy and fun - promise.

Founder of Bring Your Own Laptop & Chief Instructor

instructor

I discovered the world of design as an art student when I stumbled upon a lab full of green & blue iMac G3’s. My initial curiosity around using the computer to create ‘art’ developed into a full-blown passion, eventually leading me to become a digital designer and founder of Bring Your Own Laptop.

Sharing and teaching are a huge part of who I am. As a certified Adobe instructor, I've had the honor of winning multiple Adobe teaching awards at their annual MAX conference. I see Bring Your Own Laptop as the supportive community I wished for when I was first starting out and intimidated by design. Through teaching, I hope to bring others along for the ride and empower my students to bring their stories, labors of love, and art into the world.
True to my Kiwi roots, I've lived in many places, and currently, I reside in Ireland with my wife and kids.
