Founder of Bring Your Own Laptop & Chief Instructor
instructorI discovered the world of design as an art student when I stumbled upon a lab full of green & blue iMac G3’s. My initial curiosity around using the computer to create ‘art’ developed into a full-blown passion, eventually leading me to become a digital designer and founder of Bring Your Own Laptop.
Sharing and teaching are a huge part of who I am. As a certified Adobe instructor, I've had the honor of winning multiple Adobe teaching awards at their annual MAX conference. I see Bring Your Own Laptop as the supportive community I wished for when I was first starting out and intimidated by design. Through teaching, I hope to bring others along for the ride and empower my students to bring their stories, labors of love, and art into the world.
True to my Kiwi roots, I've lived in many places, and currently, I reside in Ireland with my wife and kids.
Hi, in this video were going to look at that warning that appears down the bottom here. Under output it says; WARNINGS: Frame numbers in EaesLJS start at 0 instead of 1. Blah blah blah, you don’t need to worry about this unless later on, that you start using this thing called EaseL.JS and you start saying I would like this, you're not using adobe animate anymore, you're using EaseLJS to do some hacks afterwards to say, I want it to get going right at the beginning. Because EaseLJS uses 0 for the beginning and what well see in adobe animate is that it uses 1. Now if you are not going to use EaseLJS, I've never used it, you wont have to worry about that. The problem is, is there's no check box that says do not show again. So every time you preview something you get this lovely warning box, so just know that it means nothing to you really, unless you're going to go off and start using another bit of code afterwards to go and start messing around with your timeline.
Alright, that’s the random warning that keeps appearing in adobe animate.
