Oh, you know what time it is, it is not painful homework to do time... it is fun class project time, it's very different... this one here, you're going to try and make your own multiple sticky headings... hopefully, you're playing along in the last video... if not, now's your chance to practice it... this is one of those key videos that I feel like...
if you do this class project you will learn a lot... because you'll bump into lots of issues... but those issues will help you become a better Figma user. Basically, do the exact same thing we just did in the last video... so create those stacking scrolling things, over here... you can see, they stack over the top of each other...
I want to use real data though... by real data I don't mean like placeholder, Lorem Ipsum... I want you to either create a fake event... or go and find something on an event site that you can use and borrow... and use it as placeholder text, I want you to add an image as well... for me, I probably add the image just...
either above Event Overview or underneath it, I'll let you decide where... and put in a real date and kind of real venue... just make sure that there's enough scrollable content... that's it, the only other thing is, get it linked up... so under Prototype, get it connected to... one of these Home page cards, so whatever image and stuff you're using in here...
get it working over here so when it's clicked... it's going to jump to that page there... and when you're finished take a video of your scrolling, that's the best option... remember, there's video capture on both Mac and PC... Mac has one built in called QuickTime, Google how to use that... Windows has one as well, I can't remember what it's called...
and upload a link to your video. You can use YouTube, or Vimeo, or Behance as well, host videos... I've already discussed this, haven't I? Anyway, it's a recap... so share the video, upload it to the Assignments, the link to the Assignments... and tag me on social media, use the hashtag, remember...
#FigmaAdvanced, without the full stop... this is an easy way, I can go and have a look at people's work... specifically for that course... choose your social poison and tag me in it, love to see what you're doing... also, remember, when you are posting, not so much on social media... but especially in the Assignment sections...
to comment on two other people's work... remember the rule, we're paying it forward. All right, that's it, class project time, enjoy... it is going to be hard, I promise... you might have to watch that video, before this one, a couple of times... you might run into new problems, and if you do, let me know in the comments...
and if you see somebody down there who's struggling or needs some help... jump down there as well, help them out in the comments, go team... all right, that is it, I will see you in the next video.
